PLUS

PLUS Markets (or "PLUS") is an independent stock exchange based in London. It has been granted Recognised Investment Exchange status by the Financial Services Authority, and is classed as a Market Operator under MiFID. The range of securities available for trading on the PLUS market numbers some 7,500 including full coverage of London-listed shares including the FTSE 100, European liquid shares and unlisted shares quoted on the AIM and PLUS markets.

The PLUS-quoted market is dedicated to the needs of smaller, growing companies seeking access to equity finance in what is often their first foray into the public markets. Today there are some 220 companies who have their shares quoted on PLUS. PLUS- quoted companies are supported from the outset by a team of market professionals at PLUS, who are dedicated to helping executives make the right choices to take their businesses forward. In addition, investors in PLUS-quoted companies benefit from a range of tax advantages that are designed to encourage the growth of smaller companies.

Companies typically join PLUS-quoted because it offers profile, liquidity, an audience receptive to growth and an environment where management can devote as much energy as possible to doing what their shareholders want them to do - to run the business.
